The Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) is the entry point to the CS programme. It is a computer-based test covering Business Communication, Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Economic & Business Environment, and Current Affairs. Conducted by ICSI 4 times a year.
CSEET is a computer-based test conducted by ICSI 4 times a year (January, May, July, November). It is mandatory for all students entering the CS programme from Class 12 onwards.
CSEET has 4 papers, all objective/MCQ-based, conducted as a computer-based test. The test is 2 hours long with 140 questions. Minimum 40% per paper and 50% overall required to pass.
Business Communication — Grammar, Vocabulary, Letter Writing, Formal Communication, Report Writing, Email Etiquette
Legal Aptitude & Logical Reasoning — Legal Concepts, Indian Constitution basics, Logical Puzzles, Verbal Reasoning
Economic & Business Environment — Indian Economy, Business Environment, Business Organisations, Markets & Pricing
Current Affairs, Presentation & Communication Skills — Monthly current affairs, Viva/Presentation skills — Viva conducted by ICSI panel
